Hi, everybody!SLO is actually Springfield, and when Homer is not working at the "Nucleon Plant", he moonlights in the paint department for BP....

"Nucular."
It's pronounced "Nucular".

I'm probably closest to a Simpson in real life since I actually work at a Nuclear Plant. You have no idea how many times I've heard the Homer jokes. :)

It's amazing how much that made me laugh - we happen to be watching the Simpsons right now and I'm not going to be able to get that image out of my head!

Bad Dargin! :D

Ok, there is nobody that can answer me?
Facts are :
-- The bass has it's original blueburst finish confirmed here:
http://www.ernieball.com/forums/show...t=1254&page=39
-- There is Homer Simpson showing his butt on the back of the bass, below the original finish.
-- Homer is deepend in the wood, (did I mentioned that it is BELOW the finish?)
-- At the surface the finish is perfect, with no "waves"
-- Serial No 52992.

Was someone fired near that time? That's my guess, they did that as their "last great act of defiance". Either way, it's cool as hell - a true one of a kind.

Perhaps someone decided to trace someone else's decal, and a body blank was the most convienient writing surface in reach? Seems innocent enough, but that might have happened from the pressure of a ball point pen . . . .
