As soon as my Bongo 5HH comes in, I'm getting a photography major to take some professional studio shots. Can't wait to show you guys.

That bongo is a beautiful bass - makes me almost wish I had gone down that road. Nah, I'm super stoked to get my SR5 HS in soon. Called BC last week, said it could be another week or so. The anticipation is killing me!!

I'd love to see how the Bongo headstock is being treated with those contours and all.

Just placed my order for a PDN Big Al 5 SSS from Bass Central! Should be shipping in mid-October..........

Ahhhhhh, the agony of making a decision and then having to wait!

Firstly welcome aboard and congrats on a great decision the BA 5 SSS is crazy versatile, secondly a few weeks for a PDN is bliss, try waiting since April when they were introduced !!! My Reflex is on it's way to TPB if I get lucky I should have it before the end of the month.

We do not know ahead of time. When BP and folks announce a new round, then we know.
There have been at least two "rounds" that I can recall, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
There were the India Ivory white ones in 2011 and then the honey-burst ones of 2012. That does not necessarily mean there will be a new crop every year.

I got the call from Bass Central today.
My Bongo is in and will ship out Monday.
It takes a week to get from right coast to left coast so I should have mine in a week from then.
I might just chew off my fingernails and maybe toenails waiting :D

There's a real nice Sterling 5H @ Perfect Bass, but @ 10.5 lbs - can't do it - yeah, I know - it's Mahogany - BP: Why not chamber the bass bodies and make 8 lb. basses?! That would be so cool.
