Here's a pic of the fretless twin of DTG's SR4. Pl excuse the rather 'focussed' expression of the player - it was very very very hot - a private function with rock and roll/rockabilly band - 3 x 45 min sets ;)

This is not strictly honeyburst - the bass was bought as sunburst back in 1993but I think the modern honeyburst is the same. This colour really comes to life under lights IMO

That's weird. The five string is a pic I took of my bass I sold years ago.

Cool....you have no idea how much I was lusting after your bass at the time!!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy it back then but I stared at your photos a LOT - you had the nicest, clearest shots!! :D

Here's my lined fretless honeyburst Sterling.

After this pic was taken I switched from the white guard to black and I definitely prefer the black.

Avoid This!

Here's a way to spoil the great look of a StingrayV: I thought I had a white pickup until I screwed on this "white pearloid" pickguard. I quickly removed it again because it hurt my eyes...
The original PU and pickguard is obviously more of a "cream" color. Does anyone know if the "vintage pearl" matches the white tone of this PU?

Not a honeyburst, but interested in your opinions..

My Sterling is not a honeyburst, I am aware of that, but I think its close cousin, which is the autumn redburst.
Got a new vintage white PG for the Sterling for Christmas, and I love the new look. Interested in your opinions on whether I need a white PU cover to complete its new look?

What a color! Too bad no one makes a matching pearloid pickup cover. That would push it over the top!
