Hi,

It looks like I may be going to Hong Kong for a business trip towards the end of May.

I was wondering of any of our EBMM Forum members could give me a heads up on guitar related places / stores / areas to visit etc.

Tom Lee Music

Dude,

While in Hong Kong, checkout Tom Lee Music in Kowloon. They have a store on Hong Kong island as well, but the Kowloon store was bigger and better than anything Ive seen in Aus.

Tom Lee Music is a great store in Hong Kong, you should definitely check it out. Andrew (andyshand), can you offer our forum friend any advice on stuff to check out while in Hong Kong?

Hello...

I think Tom Lee Music is the biggest musical instrument store in Hong Kong...

The address of the main show rooms are as follows:-

1. G/F., 1-9 Cameron Lane, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon.
(You can go there by the MTR - MassTransitRailway to the Tsimshatsui station)

2. City Centre Building, 144-149 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong
(You can go there by the MTR to the Wanchai or Causeway Bay station)

Tom Lee carries several famous brands...but the markups are quite high...


For a second choice, you can visit Parsons Music

The address of the main showroom is as follows:-

Shop B19-22, 1 st Basement, Treasure World, Whampoa, Kowloon
(It's more difficult to get there...you can go to Tsimshatsui first and then go to Whampoa by taxi..it will be about HK$50 - 60).

Thanks for the advice guys. I had noticed that Tom Lee's was the EBMM distributer over there so I thought I'd check him out. I think his HK Island store is in the same building as the seminar I'm attending.
