hows the neck compared to the stingray 4? thinner? feel? playability?

Bongo necks are a little skinnier at the nut i believe.

The neck is one of the best features, it feels great and now is squeaky clean, it should funk up just fine. I know it should be the same as the SR4 but it feels different... I could be crazy. The strings are killer, they have some zing, but are fat at the same time, I'm going to keep these strings on for a while.

I got to get this bass it's own strap, as all my basses. But I'm not sure about which strap locks to use, I might go with Schaller on this one.

The big event there is the "Grayson County Fiddlers Convention" (and now our party), we walk across a field out back to the convention, they don't enforce drunk walking.

Sounds like I need to come up there. I've been a fiddler for 21 years.
