Okay, I love my purple sunset Y2D, but I would totally swap it for that one!!!!!! When you think you dont need anything else, that's when the addiction kicks in the hardest seeing amazingness such as this. That is the most glorious Morse to date...even Blackie (chambered black burst), and that's something to say. I am a total sucker for these natural looking bursts...and I really like the roasted neck unfinished!!!

That looks friggin awesome, but I still think my olive gold rosewood neck is the most glorious Morse to date :)

What a stunning Y2D...thanks for the torture BP! Just what I needed after a sh**** day where nothing worked as planned, put a big smile on my face and a healthy dose of Adrenalin through my veins! Here's hoping it will become available someday...:)

That's outstanding! Looks like a rosewood fretboard on that roasted maple neck, correct? Would love to see that option (instead of ebony).

Thanks for the sneak peak, BP!

Yes, rosewood is the best! On a second look, that color looks like caramel burst like on my 20th Silo! I LOVE the color, however I prefer the design and size and feel of the Y2D. BP, can I trade you my 20th Silo for that one?!?! :D

Wow, that's a stunner.... me want one.

Will steve get to play that in London end of this month I wonder ??
These protos do have a habit of going AWOL when Steve or Tommy been to the factory LOL

Guess the sound etc will have to signed off by Mr Morse before it became a roller if interest was high.
Get the impression Steve is not a greatly bothered by the guitar look but rather more into the sound/playability aspects he can achieve. Many thanks for posting BP

Cheers Baz

I am warning you that roasted figured maple makes me break out the checkbook.

Something like this would be worthy of an anniversary type model.
I just remembered something Sterling told me once
"let us build the guitars"

Darn it I thought we were going to roast Steve Morse. "Hey Steve, Ritchie Blackmore called..." 'eh I got nothing.
Morse is such a great player and seems like such a great guy it would be really hard to roast the man.

All kidding aside, really nice guitar BP.
