How about a True Gold/Rosewood BFR bass for us cool guys?

I occasionally stray over to the skinney string side. Seeing all the pictures of guys with a True Gold/Rosewood necked Luke has got me kinda of jealous.

Thanks! It'll look even more killer when my "Tiramisu" PG from Chandler arrives!

Y'know, this post sparked a vision (cue heavenly choir and pool of light illuminating my bald dome).

If something like that were to happen, I'd consider selling my 5HHp and 5H Bongos in favor of a 5Hp.

I never take the pickup blend of the HH off the center detent anyway.

It'd be tough to off the 5H. It's so LIGHT.

Wow, that is a beautiful bass. Gold + rosewood = incredible.

What makes this a Ball Family Reserve..was it the total combination or just the solid rosewood neck?

The solid rosewood neck was offered as a limited option for a month a few years ago, and those basses that were ordered during the window came with the BFR inlay. I'd still love to have a True Gold Big Al w/rosewood neck. It's a killer combination.
