...not having to face Verlander in the first game is pretty sweet.

Yeah, man. Giants fan here, but I was at the A's game last night, twenty rows back, just on the first base side of the plate. Though I was rooting for the A's and a "bay bridge" series, I had to tip my cap to Verlander. He had amazing stuff, and seemed to get stronger as the game went on. An amazing performance.
