Re. Luke's new Ever Changing Times album............

1) Am I listening to the wrong stations?
2) Is the music industry in the US fooked-up? Do musicians have to bribe the stations to play their music?
3) Did ToTo piss off the US in some way in the old days and are getting blackballed, still?

I think it is a great album and haven't heard a single song from it. I've been trying to listen to every station I can receive in the area.........except for the cRap stations.

As a matter of fact, most stations around here play mostly old rock classics and little else. That's all well and fine but I want to hear new music/artists too. That's how I found out about Garaj Mahal a couple years ago..........I heard them on a satellite radio station that is now defunked. Good band. I don't have satellite radio anymore.

So, what gives?

Radio.....Luke doesnt get played on the radio because

He doesnt have any secret cell phone sex tapes with flash in the pan starlets.

He hasnt admitted to a sexual addiction

DOes not crash car into bus full of babies then has publicist send him to rehab

Can read music

Can sing a melody without pro tools

actually writes his own music

Really and truly can play guitar

these are just a few of the reasons why the most talent people make the least and get the least exposure........It is a horribly subjective business where the jive beats the talent

I've been listening to Ever Changing Times the last couple of days. What a GREAT album. The perfect example of a true, consummate musician with a big heart and amazing ability.

Radio isnt good enough to warrant playing an artist of such talent and musicianship, thats why they play Nickleback and Simple Plan.

+ 1 Billion.

and if I hear that fuggin new Pussycat Dolls song 1 more time, I'll cut the bloody cord on my radio & TV.

Absolute trash - what a bunch of trollops.

There needs to be a channel for older guys with new stuff. :) I think the easy listening channels will play Toto forever.
