how do Stingrays sound with flats?

hi,

I've got a Stingray on order (fretted/rosewood/3-band EQ) and was curious if anyone can give me an idea on how these basses sound with flatwounds?

I've been using Dean Markley flats forever and play fingerstyle, usually 60s rock 'n soul and 70s funk & disco (cover bands).

I've always used Precisions but have wanted to check out a Stingray. The store I'm ordering from has a great return policy, so I'm covered if the sound doesn't float.
