So after having my JP6 for over 2 weeks...I'm loving the piezo pickup (and the guitar itself) more and more everyday. But with so many different ways to run it, what have you guys found to work out best? (Stereo cable, mono cable from mono jack, etc. You all know what I mean)

Personally I gaffe taped 2 mono cables together: 1 going to my electric amp, and 1 into an acoustic amp I picked up a few days ago. Then I blend and balance the sound using the piezo volume knob. I just wanted to start a discussion to see what you guys like or dislike, and maybe I'll "borrow" a few of your ideas. ;)

Hey,

used an Y-Cable a long time, but then again it just got easier to run on stage without any cables, so I switched to a wireless solution and just blend the in with the Piezo.
Using a Mesa Mark V live and at home .. does a very good job though it`s not as good as an acoustic amp. :)

When I was gigging in a band needing to easily switch between mags and piezo I contacted Tony at star touch pedals. He came up with this for me and added it to his lineup. It's built like a tank and let's you switch between the sounds with a click of your feet. You use the stereo send from the guitar and the pedal will split the signal for you.

i´m running a stereo cable into a selfmade splitterbox where i can mute both signals and switch the ring of the TRS cable to ground so i can use active PUs as well with this cable.

the mags run into my wah, tuner and up to the rack + amp
the piezo runs into a Fishman Aura pedal where i have loaded a few great sounds and mix it there 50/50 with the original piezo signal, from there into a DI box and to the console or adding compression and reverb in an extra multi-fx and from there to the console.

I've done it all ways !!!

1) I've used a stereo lead out into an EB 6150 stereo pedal. Splitting the piezo to my AER and my mags to my tube amp via my pedalboard.
2) I've used a stereo lead into a standard splitter box. Piezo to aer mags to my tube amp via my pedalboard.
3) I've used two mono cables out. One to the AER and the other to ... ditto above.

The most reliable has been using the two cables.
