I tend to carry my Stingray 5's up high for the most part, but have my 30th Anniversary slung super low. I think part of it is due to the style music I play with each one. Ho does everyone else carry them and what syles do you primarily play?

I do mostly punk and some metal on my 30th and more funk/soul/groove stuff on my SR5s....

Classic rock, blues, blues/rock, Top 40. Slung "medium to low" I guess. Or, "extra low" on the Bovine/Armybass scale.

I play mine pretty much right in the middle. Well, like this:

I play a lot of classic rock with a variety of other stuff mixed in.

Well, it seems to me higher than those posted already.
I'll get a pic soon, can't find one right now, though I thought I had one.

i play classic rock tunes and adjust my stingray to medium-low. I find it ideal (both playability wise and image wise) and helps me using the floating finger technique even on the E string since i don't rest my thumb on the pickup.

About the same height as DTG for me for both basses....essentially just a little lower than where is sits on my lap....a vague attempt to stop my hands and forearms cramping sometimes....

Mine is so it is the same height standing as it is sitting.

Neither position makes for a pretty picture. :D
