You know what guys?

Forget it!

The only reason I was considering this was that I am thinking about selling a guitar - and knowing how anal some people are about condition - I thought I'd ask. But seeing as you can only see the scratches under my work bench spot light - I've decided to just leave it as is and disclose the scratches to any potential buyer. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for all the actual help though!

doubt it :p the 'chameleon' type paints are nearly impossible to match by touching up. ie on cars if you damage one panel you cant just respray that panel with the same paint as it wont match (ie when the light hits it, it may reflect/refract differently causing different colourations.. we had a car at work that came from the factory with a chameleon paint finish and got a large scratch on it in transit, had to have the whole car repainted.... not sure if its the same with guitar paints though, but id assume it would be.

Ha! Thanks a lot for the reply.
I was being sort of sarcastic....

Bruce - way to go, thanks for that info on the Flitz.

Look, keep at it - but you will always be a "smoker".

I gave up for 7 years and just the other week I smoked a packet of 10 - what a fool I was!! - I haven't touched one again!!

PM or e mail me anytime, if you want any help whilst giving up.

Thanks, bro. I quit for 10 years once, solely for sake of my singing voice, then took it up again due to various influences. Dumb! Been back on 'em for 30 years. Gonna do it for good this time.. have to if I wanna be around another year.
