How does the rosewood NECK actually sound compared to just a rosewood fretboard?

You who have played a rosewood neck. Can you describe the difference in feel and tone?

Would love some sound clips aswell, and most of all A/B tests with the same amp settings for two similar guitars with RW neck vs. RW fretboard.

Well Ive owned the same ASS MM90 with maple neck, maple/rosewood, and rosewood. All feel different, the rosewood had such a smooth tone, very mellow, not bright like the maple neck. I found the tone pretty nice.
