Thanks everybody for checking out this thread and for your kind comments! I remember when I first got the guitar, my wife asked what was so special about it, and the best answer I could come up with was "it feels like there's no guitar", meaning no neck to wrestle with and no body shape to adjust to. It's freaky. :D

For all who asked, I don't have a CD yet, but I'm slowly working towards putting something together whenever I have some spare time... Which is not all that often.

Cheers!
David

Totally agree that they feel like you are on auto pilot. I have always been so used to Fenders which as most will know give off the feeling of having to fight the guitar. My Balls are just so easy to play(for some reason that just sounds wrong, lol) but it is the truth. I have played a ton of guitars and there are no necks that can beat these.

I started out playing Kramers when I was a kid, I had a baretta(still do) and it was cool , but I was still a young player and I was still learning. When I was 13 I got the EVH musicman and it totally unlocked my potential as a guitarist. Not only did MR> you know who> endorse it, but it was small, and the neck was so easy to get around on. Paying 1700 bucks for a guitar when you're 13 will also make you pick the damn thing up every free moment you have. (or make you cut school to play guitar!!) I really learned how to play guitar on that instrument, I'll never forget when I nailed the first really hard lick in I'm the One, I felt like I unlocked some mystical secret in the world of guitar playing. I wanna get another MM or retrieve my old guitar just to be as inspired as I was back then. I tried that new Fender guitar that MR> you know who> put out, a few weeks ago. The pickup switch didn't work!!!! the action was buzzin like crazy!!! I Tried out an Axis and it felt like Mama's cooking. MM has quality control above all the rest..
