A question for you guys that swaped the pickups, could you reinstall the metal covers on them if you wanted to? I think the metal pickup covers look really cool.

You cant re-install those. That is the way the pickup is made actually. You can order em that way from DiMarzio on certain pups. I switched the pups for sound but I personally love the way it looks on mine also with the black dome knobs. Bit more progressive I guess, hehe .

Nope... I think you need to custom order the metal covers. Though I think there are some pups which can be retrofitted.
