Never sold any balls. I own two, and amber quilt axis, and a tobacco sunburst axis. I've bought and sold alot of other guitars, and have no regrets.

I've been working on getting my perfect Ball collection since I got my first Luke 3 years ago, so have had to let a few EBMM's go to fund the purchase of new ones.

Up here in Scotland it's not easy to find a decent selection of EBMM's to try out, so it can be case of having to buy in order to try them, and move them on if you don't quite bond for whatever reason.

I currently own 3 EBMM guitars and a bass:

BFR Luke
JP6 Dargie Delight
Axis with floating trem (just as I like 'em, bought used set up like that with neck shim etc)
Bongo 4H

I've previously owned & sold 5 EBMM guitars:

2 Lukes (sold with the arrival of the BFR Luke)
Axis (couldn't get on with the trem flat on the body, didn't want to get involved with messing with shims etc to make it float)
Axis Super Sport Hardtail (sold to make way for the Axis above!)
Axis Hardtail (mojo guitar, sold to Smelly in a moment of madness!) :D

I've never tried an Al, and am interested in a Silo Special but never tried one of those either.

I'm definitely a Luke guy, that gets all the play time of my EBMM's.

I've never quite bonded 100% with the JP6, it's not been played much and the only reason I've not sold it so far is that it's obviously special being a Dargie.

Since getting the BFR Luke I've not been playing the Axis either!

I'm interested in the 25th anniversary guitar, so maybe the Dargie JP and Axis will make way for one of them?

It's all good!

Until 2 weeks ago, I'd never sold any MM's but my axis got sold to a fellow forumite.
Whilst I love the neck on the axis and the top on my axis was great, it wasn't get played as I'm not a huge fan of Floyd Roses and the lack of forearm contour was a pain.

To be honest it's the 'Curse of the Silo' as once you've played a Silo, it quickly becomes your No1 .

Guess I take a pragmatic view in that my other EB already cover the bases plus it allows some new GAS credits (more of which in due course ;))

My two Pets....I'm still kicking myself in the A** for selling them:(, but oh well i was in dire need of funds at the time, and will be replaced by a BFR JP6 in the near future.

Sold/gave away many guitars since I got balls. Still have my original balls. Don't see loosing them any time soon.

I've bought 5 and sold 2 - Luke 2005 LE Buttercream and Axis hard tail.

All due to those suits in London arsing up the economy leading to a drying up of work coming through my door.

I've only sold one guitar and that was to a colleague for her son who was learning guitar in school. That was an Epiphone Les Paul Junior. Couldn't possibly part with my EBMM Axis SS.:)

1st ball I had was Axis Honeyburst....beautiful, but found out that I was not a Floyd guy. Sold it....bought an ASS trem Honeyburst. IT WAS SICK! My wife talked me into selling it and downgrading. :(.

I think the only way I'd sell one now would be to replace it with a better or different Ball.

2 Balls sold.

4 Balls bought.

I have only sold one Ball - I sold my EVH (I think it was a 93 or 94), but in the same exchange I bought my Pinkburst AL, so it wasn't a total outright sale (it was part of an extended and rather confusing deal with MIA Forumite Guitarball....).

Otherwise, I swapped my 2001 Lava Pearl SR5 H for a 2007 Black SR5 HH (with Forumite Thornton Davis on the bass side) and I also swapped my first 2000 Axis, which wasn't getting any stage time, for my 1996 Pearl Green Silo Special (a non-Forum deal this time).
