BP, can't speak to the Bongo as I have never purchased one, but I have never sold any other EB that I have purchased! :D Kind of running out of room in the storage closet now though....

Sorry, Boss, I'm never going to find out the answer to that question. The only thing that would make me sell my Bongo is another, nicer Bongo. Something like, say, the Open House Mahogany Bongo.

I'm done. I won't switch unless you come up with something even cooler than the Bongo. How likely is that?

I do miss my HH Bongo, I'll admit it.

BUT, my Sterlings have made me miss it a lot less. I will get another one soon.

Ditto. I expect I'll be selling my stealth Bongo next year, but the proceeds will be used to buy another Bongo. Right now, I'm thinking blue dawn LE single H. The only thing that could change my mind is a BFR Bongo, depending on the details.

I traded my Bongo, and then traded for it back less than a month later!

What a killer bass. Actually, the one year anniversary for my Bongo is coming up in the next week or so. I can't imagine life without it now.

I think I have five Bongos on the "no longer own them" list.

But somehow I still have five Bongos.

Took me a while to work out that I didn't need 3 Bongo 4 HHs but now I'm good.

(It was fun having three, though. Where is that dragnr guy?)

have bought a BOngo....sold it thinking you were over it and then realizing that you have to have one again?

It seemms that I read about this alot....

I buy at least 5 Ernie Balls a Month, then I go through them, and only keep the lightest ones that sound the best and then move the others.

GOTTA LOVE THE ERNIE BALL BASSES

I bought a Bongo 5 HS on a whim early this year - found it to be very head heavy so I sold it. When the DD order window opened (second time) I ordered a 5 HSP - which got me thinking about a 4. Received a 4H in a trade - I have sold it and its replacement will be delivered today - a 4HH.

Somehow I am starting to think more about Bongos than I am Sterlings or SRs.

Visions of Bongos dancing in my head!!!

No Bongo no mo'

Bought the Bongo. :)

Played the Bongo. :D

Sold the Bongo to Motojunkie.

Went back to my Sterling. :D

No regrets. :)

Although I did like the Bongo, it just wasn't the bass for me.

I might buy another one day. But not anytime soon.

Unless I get a smokin' deal.

I have probably the only Bongo 5 string in Kansas. It is never going anywhere without me. Thanks to Jack.

I've bought and sold several Bongos. The HH is a great bass but it took me awhile to figure out the preamp. It looks similar to Sterling or Stingray controls but does more and my usual Ray settings didn't work for me. A Candy Red H4 helped me find my tone on the Bongo but I foolishly sold it. I bought Bill's above and I think this one will stay for a long time.

I kinda miss my HS Bongo 5 but not nearly as much as I'm looking forward to getting ahold of a Bongo 6. (in all-white finish!) I think I can probably hold out, though.

I have, however, bought the exact same Lava Pearl Stingray 5 THREE times now. I love that bass but I hate the color. It's a really strange on-again-off-again relationship that we have.
