How Much More Does an AL BFR Weight Than A Standard AL?

Specifically, an AL SSS w/trem. I assume the figured top adds some weight.

Here ya go! The BFR AL is about 6 oz more than the other AL.

Thanks, Pete. I saw that on the spec sheet, but I know guitars sometimes vary. I saw a used BFR somewhere that weighed 8.8 lbs, which sounds incredibly heavy for an AL.

I found mine a lot lighter. Ive had heavy Al's and light Al's, they all vary a lot to me.

I've had featherweights come through along with guitars that are "above average" but the majority seem to be right about 7lbs. My BFR AL w/trem is 7lb 5oz. I have not weighed my HSS AL w/trem.
