how much would it cost to order a JP-7

im new to the foums. i just wanted to know how much it would cost me to order a guitar form Ernie Ball.

i was wanting a John Petrucci signature guitar. here are my options:

-7-string w/ piezo pickups
-matching headstock
-Petrucci inlays
-Pearl Redburst finish

hi, welcome to the forum. It would be helpful if we know where are you from... you can't order a guitar directly from the Ernie Ball factory, you would have to order through a dealer in your country/ city...

Pete is a forum member here (his nick is - you guessed it! - PeteDubaldo) and a Music Man dealer. And also a great guy. I suspect he's a little out of it right now with 4 brand new Steve Morse Y2D models in the house (check out 4x Purple Sunset y2d = Over Stimulation thread). The JP 7 string is a great instrument...it's my favorite actually. Even without using
the low B, the tones are FAT!

PUSM comes from the build codes for the SM-Y2D model; an example:

Sm_Y2d_Std Flame_Purple_Sunset Rswd_Std_Clear_ Clear_Pg_
Purple_Pusm

It stands for "Purple Pickups, Steve Morse" or "Purple Pickups, Signature Model."

We took it and made it into something much worse. (At least Keith did! )

Say it a couple of times. Think for a moment, say it again. If you don't get it, you don't want to know. However, if you do, more fun can be had. Another build code is "Black_PUSM." Others that came up over the past few days were "Cream_PUSM" and "Amber_PUSM."
