It looks much brighter under direct light. See my avatar. In reality, under natural light its a little darker and subtler too. The outer edge looks black and the middle section a dark turquoise. Its actually it its absolute best in direct sunlight. Still the best colour on any guitar I've seen....but I have this thing about guitars all being blue!

That one still looks VERY bright though.

<--------See here for how mine looks without a flash or sunlight.

Damn I love that color! If it was an ASS w/ rosewood I would possibly go for it..............but it's NOT. I wish that this color would be an option on the 20th Silo!!! How awesome would that look. HOWEVER I still LOVE the caramel, and cant wait to get mine in....oohhhh, about 5 MONTHS :D.

Yeah, I assumed Pacific Blueburst was darker. In the sunlight it totally changes the look of the guitar.

That Axis is gorgeous:eek:

A Pacific Blue Burst Axis with matching headstock will almost definitely be my next EBMM purchase-that one only makes the wanting worse.

The sun makes that finish a little brighter than it normally is.

Here's a pic of mine indoors, with a flash.
