How should I go about this?

Well I just purchased a set of Power Slinky Bass strings and the 50 had a mild imperfection in it. It seems like one of the coils wasn't wound right. I tried to capture a picture of it, but it was pretty difficult. Bass strings don't come cheap these days, that's the only reason I'm making a big deal about it. Should I take it back to where I bought it? Or get in contact with someone at EB?
