Got a new compressor (stomp box) and rushed to set up.

My mate says "How come ya never used it all night".

I said "well I tried it and it just cut everything - I must have a problem with the leads?"

He says "Ok talk me through it?"

I said
"well the little toggle switch controls the rate of attack on the compressor, and it has two control knobs, one is sustain and the other is .... volume" at which time I turn the volume up and the compressor springs to life

Uhh I swing both ways too and play a little bass so careful with the "guitarist taunts!!" ;)

The latter applies. A lame arty farty interpretation of Warhol's theme with Stingray content.

Koogs, I've done the same thing before. If it wasn't for the fact that I've been there too, I would have gladly ripped into you, and let you know how stupid you are. I still say we need to get together and get stupid sometime! :D

no one hits that tuner switch lol...no one

i once strung up my stingray and had the g string hanging outside of the saddle on the bridge and started freaking out for a good 2 hours thinking "man the g string is quieter...the g string is quieter...why the hell is the g-string quieter? this hasnt hapened before!" i sat for 2 hours adjusting pickups and driving my brother in the next room insane by playing g on the 5th fret on the d string and then g open on the g string. finally after an hour break and feeling defeated i then looked and saw that the string was not in the saddle, making it a good 2 or 3mm higher than normal, making the g string A LOT quieter.

Well thank god it wasn't something costly!....Being the joke is ok having no dough is not!
