HI All,

I have bought myself a jp6 2 years ago and never once changed the strings.

The other I down tuned my guitar to standard C and I thought it would be easier to tune by loosening the dial or screw(watever u call it) behind the tuning pegs... Bad Mistake!! when i did this 3 of my guitar strings snapped.

Anyway, I have bought myself a new set of strings (same gauge as existing) and I was wondering how to change the strings on a JP6?

Kind Regards

Aaron

Nothing special to it, just change 1 at a time to save time and extra work. To insert the string in the peg you have to loose it and keep it that way until you are reasonably comfortable with the tension and tuning of that particular string. Now tighten the peg and fine-tune the string carefully. When cutting the string I always place a rag or something to protect the headstock's finish from possible scratching.
