Question How to maintain painted neck

Hello,

Just got a MM SUB (with black painted neck)
and I was wondering how to clean / maintain it regarding more classic finished necks I used to play with.

I always used to wipe the neck on my old sub5 down after playing it. Maybe a little polish to buff it up. No different to cleaning the body really of any guitar.

rubbing alcohol on a soft towel works well

I find neglect to be the best approach.

Unless you have highly acid sweaty
palms ... in which case wear gloves.
