Help! How to maintan my JP6?

I have a Mystic Dream JP6 that is a little less than 1 year old. I haven't maintained it really that much, except for polishing it, changing strings evey couple of weeks and using Fast Fret. I really love the guitar and I want to maintain it as much as possible. I've read somewhere that I should maintain the fretboard with a layer of gunstock oil once a year, but I don't know what kind of gunstock oil, where to get it or the process of doing it? Also, what should I use to maintain the fingerboard?

EB wonder wipes instrument polish for the finish

EB wonder wipes fretboard conditioner for the fretboard

#0000 steel wool for the neck every 6 months or so (just a few passes with light pressure to make it feel nice and smooth again - like a baby's bottom)

That's all I do for mine and it keeps it looking and playing great. IMO there's no need to hit the neck with oil/wax unless you play your guitar without washing your hands and it is just grimey as hell and you end up having to hit it with steel wool extensively to the point of sanding through the original layer of oil/wax treatment...

oh yeah, with steel wool, cover your pickups with blue painters tabe to prevent the steel wool from building up on the pickups, and of course the ernie ball string cleaner! wash hands always before play unless you like your guitar dirty lol

i only cover the pups if I hit the frets with the steel wool to polish them. Smoothing the maple neck is less messy...

maybe once a month wipe down your guitar when you do a cleaning.

Wonder Wipes are maybe the best treatment. I had one for the Body that worked well.

I myself maintained my necks last week using a bit of 1000 sandpaper, which worked similar like 0000 steel wool. It cleans the neck and does not hurt the wood.

After that I used "Tru Oil" and "Gunstock Wax" from Birchwood Casey. That´s what EBMM uses in the factory too.

For the fretboard a small amount of lemon oil can be used alternatively to the Wonder Wipes fretboard conditioner.

...and I'd highly recommend to stay away from stuff like FastFret.
It picks up the dirt and broadly spreads it on your strings and fretboard.
Not so nice IMHO...

I can state the the Wonder Wipes are all great. I use the fretboard conditioner also as treatment/cleaner for the neck - just perfect.
If played really frequently, a little #0000+ and a Birchwood-Casey treatment once a year is what it takes to keep everything as smooth, fast, perfect as it came ex-works.
