Off Topic How to power up a all rack units?

Ive got my rack pretty much complete but another problem occured namely powering the rack.
I have seen that Furman power conditioner has only the female IEC outlets, so i thought how am I supposed to power my units that have got its own power supply instead just male cable that you can connect straight into Furman i.e.Dunlop DCR-2SR which got external power supply.

Im not bothered abour single pedal units as i can power them from my VD Labs PP2+ but it comes to the same question isn't that suppose to be filtered by some power conditioner?

What i do with my 'studio' rack is have a power conditioner and use IEC leads with what i can. The things that have external power supplies i plug into a short lead which has an IEC on one end and a normal plug socket on the other. I had these made up quite cheaply, you may be even able to buy some from say a specialist lighting company or electrical store. I got a pro to do it just incase though!
So with your VD Labs (sounds a bit iffy that name!) supply you could plug that into one of these leads and then into the conditioner.

I just want to make sure that i will not overload too much one of IEC outlets on Furman.
So can I use FURMAN>IEC +short lead to DOUBLE NORMAL SOCKET>I.E. 2 POWER ADAPTORS?

And VD is just Voo Doo labs haha was too tired (and lazy...as this rack makes me nuts)

Cry baby has its onw power supply same as alesis, Sound Sculpture and 2290 has got IEC so im not bothered and single pedals are gonna be powered by VooDoo Labs PP2+.

I guess it will be 13 amps for each connection , maybe less though, my ETA unit (same type of thing as a furman) has 10A sockets but forinstance off one of mine i have a normal gang plug which i plug in a pod xt live, guitar synth, phone charge etc, so your idea of a double socket shouldnt cause an issue. Check the ratings of what you intend to plug into them, i doubt they would pull much though.

And well the rack unit was always my dream so im just completing everything i need to have to make it sound well. I could just get axe fx ultra but just dont trust that it can sound as good as separate single units.

I use a pedalboard nowadays and can do everything I need it to. Racks are cool though if you have the space and a way to get it to a gig. I live in NYC and have to take cabs or subways to gigs. A rack is just unwanted weight and I play such a dry sound anyway these days.

It was cool having a giant setup with cabinets running stereo. It was total overkill but it sounded AMAZING. Ahhh....to be young again (with a car).

Well i can agree with you that rack unit is a heavy bastard but i think that the quality is there and im not saying that with pedalboard you can get wrong.
What about amp isnt it heavy?

Most NYC clubs have amps for use, so all I usually need is a pedalboard and a guitar.

Axe FX? You mean that spray that drives chicks crazy?

Seriously, no I haven't tried those processors. Look pretty cool from the brief glance at the website. May check them out further. How is the distortion? Lots of gain?
