How to Purchase a New StingRay Special with a SLO Special Neck

I'm a little fuzzy on the current rules, but my understanding is that players are allowed to order a StingRay Special 4 with one of the coveted, ultra-rare, limited-edition-only SLO Special necks after they perform one or more of the following tasks:

• Play "Teen Town" live at double-speed, backwards, in heels
• Submit a video showing the player planting a non-SLO StingRay neck at the summit of Mt Everest
• Weave a commercial tuna net from 500 packs of Ernie Ball Super Slinky Nickel Bass Strings (would stainless be a better choice?)
• Clean the Augean Stables, leaving a Music Man instrument catalog under each fresh hay bale
• Carve Big Poppa into Mount Rushmore at scale

I used to own a 2010 Stingray classic, I currently own a 1994 EBMM Sterling unlined fretless. So I know that the jazz type neck of the SLO special would be so much better for me. - So i am pondering this as well.

They've made it really easy now, @pgpete. Click on the "Custom Design Experience" banner at the top of the page and you can specify a SLO Special StingRay with whatever options you want.

The custom design Experience is great - but I couldnt get the exact thing I liked, but I emailed the sales team at EBMM, and they made it possible for me to order a Stingray 4 HH Purple Sunset with flamed maple SLO neck and hard case.

but theres a 3 month wait while they build it !
