You played every note on the neck didn't ya? :D

Didn't sound as clanky as I figured it would. I liked that. Great sound Arin.

thanks guys. that clip was that i recorded while i was on the phone with stanky (or when he said "ill call u back in 5" minutes). i was just trying to figure out how to use my webcam to record stuff so i didnt have a clue what i was gonna do. one of these days ill "plan out" some stuff and do a better recording w/ at least some sort of game plan.

the amp was about 15 feet away and the mic that i used was just my laptop's built in mic.

as far as the clank....
being in control of the pick makes a huge difference... when my friend plays my basses they sounds all clanky cuz he just goes at it. he's a good player but he's go no picking finesse when he plays fast. you can play w/ a pick fast w/o playing hard. i do lots of adjustments of how i grip the pick (change the angle n stuff) in order to change the sound of the attack and to accomodate different picking speeds

anywho... ya, Sterlings are awesome and im stoked to see that theyve been getting a lot of love. its not just a "little stringray"... lets spread the word!!!
