Monsseur de Kick: pix at the top;) No real need for new ones, she looks the same still.

spent some more time with it last night.
pretty neat bass; lots of usable tones in there with the 5 way....
easy to see it in the leo family tree, from fender to g&l to that.
more refined, yet still edgy-tho not raw like a gnl; much cleaner.
the preamp has boost compared to the g&l's, but not lots-not overwhelming. not enuff to let you push it into "bad."
a lot of top end; i find myself turning that down from center detent just a bit. that may change live.
nice neck, if a tad wide, i like the finish on it.

Chef, it's good to see you over here. What a great looking 'Ray. I also went too long without owning an EBMM... but it's all fixed now! I am a Sterling type guy meself. Rock on, brutha! :D
