Hi all. I have a new HSS cutlass on order and i'm curious if the buffering/noiseless system makes installing a coil split more difficult/impossible, or if it has nothing to do with it. If it is possible, I would love to here from someone who has done so and whether or not the ENMM humbucker lends itself to decent single coil sounds, or if its a waste of time.

Thanks

With the way it is set up, if you split the bridge, most likely that will be the only position that has significant hum. I assume that they used 4 conductor pickups, but they could always be 2 conductor.
