Ed is a fan MAN the rest of you are boys!

Oh. I could easily wrestle Ed down any second. Make no misstake about it. We swedish lads eat ice cream during snow storms. We are men, indeed. Vikings. Ed doesn´t have a chance. And I´ve played Musicman basses forever. The first one was a early -76 Stingray.....

But he´s a truly great bass-playing male....... individual.... that is also a fan of Musicman basses. ;)

to me, w/o playing one, the HSS just seems fun and different. I really wanna check one out and explore the possibilities

The HH with the switching options in the 25ths adds a different dimension compared to the previous HH offerings. By far my favorite HH tone of all the musicmans.

Sell it! Sell it!

I sold my Lakland 4-95 or 5-94 (whatever they are called) with AAAA maple top to buy my latest SR5. :)

And I like to read the conversations between BP and Ed.... :)

Wish list: I think it would be cool to see the HSS show up on some other models... like a Sterling perhaps? And... active/passive preamp as a standard option? I am loving the 25th in passive mode. Series/parallel switch as a standard option?

I'm just sayin'...

This week I get to take home the 25th HSS 4 string to review. It should be an interesting comparison with the Big Al.

Ed, I'm glad you are loving it and I can't wait for your reviews. I am really eager to hear what you have to say about the comparison especially. I'm trying to figure out whether I can make the next purchase a Bongo or whether I realy just have to go straight for the Al.

Thanks for your hard work and always helpful information.

Ed what do you do with evolution? At some point a Stingray has to be a stingray....AA sterling .....lets not open that argument..heheheh

You will see in the future many of the same pick up combinations made available....its just getting around to it. If we have done anything wrong in the last three years is not work the new stuff enough before bringing out something new......

Speaking of new....Drewbixcubed is nearly ready to unleash a game changer for all instruments.............I have been dropping hints but it is fufilling one of my dreams in guitar making......................................................................................................................................................Are you going to be in Nashville? There may be a secret showing

This gave me tingles... I watched the GC vids again recently, and there were some comments about the Bongo and controlling resonance... Just saying, that would be beyond cool...
