HELP!

A) are the humbuckers on the AxisSuper Sport the same pickups that
were designed for the original EVH guitar?

B) Does the splitting-of-the-coils feature affect the sound of the humbuckers at all....any tone suckage?

THANKS TO ANYBODY THAT CAN HELP

They are said to be the same pickups as the EVH/Axis model.

There shouldn't be any "suckage". I'm sure it's one of those things where you can get 100 different opinions on the subject though.

Technically, it isn't a coil splitting feature. It's a system of wiring that gives you the single coil tones buy using the inside and outside coils of the humbuckers. And contrary to just splitting the coils, they always remain in a hum canceling mode.

I've been very impressed with the Super Sports that I've played. Very versatile guitars

The pickups are the same. I have an Axis and an EVH, and the pickups sound the same to me.

Thanks,
Greg
