so my over active mind was pondering yet once again, say you like the STERLING neck, but the STINGRAY body, is it possible, to put a sterling neck on the stinger body? maybe bridge needs to be changed too? if this is possible...would EB offer a request for this, for people with smaller hands but who love the stingray body :cool:

just an idea question...

In parallel it is very close to the ray sound. Not exactly the same but in a band setting it would be very difficult/impossible to tell the difference.

Not at all.

It'll be thicker than a Sterling 4 though.

Who knows? I may fall in love.

It'll be hard to pull me away from my SR5s though. :D

hahah i think you are sooo right...its a great bass, we just never had that click..if you know what i mean, my first bass was magical then this one was like meh, if it fell in the river i wouldn't bother trying to save...
