Help! I am getting a weird noise from my piezo pickups on my JP6

I posted this from my iPad and for some reason it didn't show up so sorry if this is a duplicate.

I have a JP6 BFR and I play through an Egnater Renegade. When I use the piezo pickups I get a weird noise that is more noticeable the harder I play and especially noticeable when I'm using the reverb. It's almost like a distortion. If I play soft it's not as noticeable but when I start to put any kind of attack on the note it gets really bad. If the reverb is on it magnifies this noise. I've changed the battery but that made no difference. Has anyone had a similar experience and more importantly can anyone tell me how to fix this. It's been there since I bought the guitar new in July.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide!! One of the main reasons I got this guitar was because of the piezo pickups and they are nearly unusable.

Hi, experienced this problem also.

Checked my PIEZO EQ and TREBLE was set too high around 9-10. It seems, that was causing the problem. Tried to lower it to around 5-6. Fixed the problem. ^_^
