I Am Having A Great Day!!!!!!!

Just got back from lunch and back from picking
up my new cabinet . . . a Bergantino IP310!!

AND . . as if that wasn't enuff . .

I just checked my e-mail and my wife sent me a
message saying my dealer called and my new
baby is IN!! SR5HH!!!

If anyone recalls, I ordered a new SR5HH in Jan
but it was lost/stolen by Fedex in Apr/May. The
claim was filed on 5/10 and SLO rushed me a new
one & it's ALREADY here! WoW, great cycle time!

BP, Dargin, & Co., you guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!
I am a fan/customer for life!

Yeah, I'm thinkin about taking that approach Travis . . SVP-CL.
If I find that kills my need for my still new Ampeg "Classic" stack,
I'll off it and put together a nice little rack for the IP. I'll check
out some other pre's too, I hear Jim and others recommend
the Demeter HBP-1 and/or the Aguilar DB680?

Originally, I wanted a small rig/combo to use for smaller gigs
(I can't always lug around an 8x10) and thought I could hold
out and hear the MarkBass stuff once it hit GC but this offer
came out of nowhere and I got a great deal on it.

I've heard only excellent reviews on the IP310 and just about
everyone who buys a Berg loves it . . so hopefully I'll share the
same opinion.

And it's still downsizing for me, I can't believe how compact
it is . . only 15" deep and still light for a powered cab @ 86lbs,
even feels lighter than that to me - can't wait to hear it, hope
it's as good as they say it is

The SR5HH, I already know how good it's going to be

Hey check out the BBE BMAX-T pre-amp if you're looking for the tube type of sound. It's an Alembic F1-X on steriods. I just picked up a "pre-loved" one from talkbass, just got it today. So far so good, definitely exceeds my expectations for the price.

I don't know which I'm more excited about for YOU. On one hand Tobacco Burst is my favorite trans color and the SR5 HH will surely be a B.A.M.F.! On the other hand Bergantino cabs are freak'n amazing and the IP series is just nuts-unbelievable! I played the same cab when the IP just came out and I was floored. If I hadn't already purchased my 2 Bergs I might of considered getting one.

I got my Berg HT112 yesterday, I haven't had a chance to mess with it much, but this thing is all wrong, it's wayyyy too small, I can pick it up with one hand. You're not supposed to be able to pick up a bass cab in one hand... right?
