The first thing I must do is give a big shout out and even bigger thank you to my friend and fellow knucklehead--Headstock-- who made this thread possible, Thanks J:D

As most know I had a Dargie Delight Luke, great guitar but sold it in a time of family need, and of all the ones I have had it was the only one I regretted selling, actually made me sad. I have been posting in the WTB thread for one but figured it was a lost cause, but out of the blue Headstock PM's me asking if I was interested in his, did not take much thought I jumped on it quickly, again thanks Headstock:)

Anyways it arrived late last night and al I can say is WOW, this baby is dead mint, just look at the photo of the back! Just beautiful and as said I am a happy knucklehead:cool:

Now pics of this fine DD:)

Luke plays his dargie about 40% of the time live....He is so funny his number one is a ltd edition radience red with the black headstock...I said at dinner last night "Luke that is o90ver 5 years old and now its your number 1? He says "Oh , the number one doesnt have a black headstock" He proceeds to go onstage with the black headstock....

BP, thats funny, had to go back and look have an old guitar one mag from March 06 with a Luke interview and the photo of him is a Rad Red but not the LE, hell no matter which he plays it is magical:)

Thanks Don, and yes it will, you know I bring them in and let them go, but that one was a mistake, plus out of all the ones I have shown to the wife the only one she ever really got excited about was the Dargie, she loves the color and is a big martini drinker, she was as excited as I was to get another and being a Luke was a bonus:D

congratulations Keith....when I was thinking of selling my JP7 Dargie, it was your words of wisdom and regretful experience that made me really rethink my position and change my mind.

Awesome!!! Glad it worked out that you were able to obtain a Dargie again...I couldn't imagine parting with mine.

Thanks, I am glad to have the chance, and glad I helped you with the decision not to sell:)

Again thanks, love this axe, and I will not part with it again, but even if I had a lapse of judgement, which I will not, the agreement I made with headstock was it would go right back to him, which is the way it should be:D
