WOW...never saw one of those before. Not sure about the price...but...would love to hear Pops give us some history on it. Interesting. :cool:

Well its the very first one, and it really looks like mint. I don't think the price is crazy. If I had a job in the US I might consider it.

Wow, that's some mad $ he is asking for it. I know I would rather buy two new Silhouettes and still have money left over for an amp.

Regardless, it is a very interesting bit of Music Man history. I do wonder how the old Stingray guitars play. Since it is a Music Man, it's gotta be pretty sweet.

I gotta be honest though, the input jack with that huge switch looks a bit tacky. The newer MM guitars look so much cooler.

Yeah, I've seen that one listed before too, like Rex said it was 5k before.
But I'm digging the vintage strap more though.
For some reason I never liked the 'look' of the StingRay guitar with that big butt area after the bridge, but I sure thought the Sabre guitars looked much better.
