I dunno man...I think putting stickers on basses may be a bit like getting tattoos. I've never done it before yet now I find myself eyeballing blank white space on it.

here's my bastard. he's got a few stickers. hell, i even removed some paint and repainted my name on the poor guy. He's my batard but he does play damn well ... he's not a brand name bass at this point either. every damn part besides the body has been changed :)

can you guys make out the black sticker of Butt-head picking his nose (from Beavis & Butt-Head). He's right above my name

Well, louder may not be all that of a "good" thing with this Ferrington with plywood top, gooped on heavy poly finish and a crap preamp system. (aka: The stickers will not "choke" the tone...LOL)

I've had the Acousitcores on it for a while but that are far too low volume and tension for this bass since I rarely plug it in and I have to dig in hard on it and they are way far too low tension to honk on at all. I'm spanking these things off the fingerboard with a resounding "thwank" all the time.

I'm thinking whatever Slinky's came on my Bongo HH and a big pick baby!!

I've also been toying with swapping the neck out with a fretless 2.5" wide at heel and 1.5" at nut, 7.25" board radius "Jazz" neck of some manufacturer. Anyone got one in their basement?

Guys~ I've seen this bass in person...and it's every bit as ugly as the picture dictates.

Really doesn't fit Phatty's other basses, or his apartment for that matter (immaculate!).

XOXO Arin! :D

...subject to change with upcoming gig dates.

I'll PM you by this Sunday.

You could try some EB flats on there to match up with the new sticker.

I was actually thinking the Ernie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Bass strings might be more appropriate--especially if Dude is thinking of playing with a plectrum.

And, that way, he could answer questions about 'em, too. Hell--I know you aren't going to find many people in Guitar Center with working knowledge of Ernie Ball acoustic bass strings....
