Hey Ken I would love to but I took over the editorship of Whisky Magazine (and Cigar Buyer) today!!!!! Have been left with a deadline to meet next week - otherwize would have tried to get over.
Oxford is about 1 1/2 hours by car from me.
Hope you have a lovely time in the city of spires.....

It means we've started saving He's a musical snob and refuses to buy a used one - so we'll have to save up the horrendous amount we have to pay over here for new ones! Will definately bear Cardiff Music in mind when the time comes - esp as you got such a fantastic deal on yours! (Does mean I have to visit my in-laws when we pick it up, but hey I can live with that if they have basses in stock too )

Thanks mate! I've just searched the forum and saved several pics of yours to the hard drive for him to drool over. Quck qu - you've got different knobs on your bass - not the standard white ones. It that because it's a trem model or a piezo model? Or did you put them on yourself? Only ask as he thinks they are nifty

Nah because it has the piezo (which he MUST get ) it has chrome knobs other wise EB would have to double up on a "Volume" pot and that may confuse us, you know how we guitarists get easily confused.

I may be getting another AL in the new year !!!- and that's it then ha!

Cardiff is a nice place - but the prices of properties are horrendous.

It has a nice golf course nearby ,so BP would like it!

You don't wanna work for me ' cos I work for HM Government !!!!

But if you come to Cardiff let me know.

I loved Cardiff Tiff - lived nearby and worked there for nearly a year! If you don't go and work there, it's easy enough to go and visit. I make a wicked guide Spud is right though - it's mega expensive! Not as much as London, but getting there!

ETA - seeing your name on photobucket made me laugh - every time I used to go past Splott it used to make me laugh... still does as I just think the name is funny

He cracked up when he read out my address- he thought it was funnier than the joke!!
