no guitars. Yes, but I was looking for one. Many thanks to the those forumites who gave me good information and advice on what to look for and where.

I could not find the Rosewood Axis Super Sport in Vintage Sunburst with trem, piezo, rosewood fretboard and matching headstock so it is ordered and in the queue to be built at the Ball factory.

Then I thought... what am I going to do while I wait for this "wonder" to be manufactured....... Well, being the kind of person I am, and by that I mean no will power, I did something dangerous and started surfing the net. It didn't take long before I had ordered a 20th Anniversary Silhouette with flame top, rosewood fretboard, matching headstock, and trem. It should be here next week.

So I went from no Balls to one on the way and one being manufactured. Needless to say, I am extremely excited...and broke.

Ahh I almost forgot... a Peavey 50/410, GNX4, and Vocalist Live 4 is en route also. So I think I am set for a while. If you don't hear from me much in the future it will be because I am having too much fun playing with my guitars.

I am a happy man.

Thanks guys,
Dave (DJ)

I came to this forum with no balls, and still don't have balls! ;)

But hey... the community is great, and I'll just say you don't need balls at the moment :D

I noticed that about the customer service. AJ has been a great help already.

And a very big thanks to the guy who made the Axis happen. I would probably still be trying to make up my mind.

THANKS Jeff!

Great choice (may be biased). I had mine made a few years back with the old Ball boys...these connections have faded, but not the guitar. I'm sure yours will be just as sweet.

I just love the look of the Vintage Sunburst in any of the ball models.

Do you have any pics of yours posted anywhere?

Great choice on the 20th. They are awesome to behold and they do sound incredible! Be sure and let us know what you think.

Hey, I appreciate it. I am really looking forward to it's arrival.

I was looking for one with the piezo but it seemed that I was always a little late for the few I found. I'm sure I will be happy with it.

Yep, Jeff's da man!

He worked hard to see that I got exactly what I was looking for.

thank YOU!!!...it's easy when you're so passionate about these guitars...I was without balls when I first came here....now they're everywhere!!!!

you're gonna' love it! We just got in a black cherry burst axis ss with MM90s and the piezo...I'm thinking I might need to add it to my collection.

yes Jeff, from the looks of your signature you really "need" at least one more ASS.

This is a bad place to hang out. The LUST for gear is as bad here as it is with my other hobby... photography. There is always another piece of gear that we "need".

What I really need another job or two to support my hobbies.
