That's the first (and, for sure last) "Bridge thru body" MM ever made...

Nigel Tufnel would appreciate that sustainer.

Some "post-industrial Bauhaus" piece of art !

That said, the neck looks really nice (birdseye...?)

"I don't think musicians should be trusted with wrenches."

I dont think that dude should be trusted with musical instruments.

Do not leave this person alone in a room with your basses!!!

Hey what's the deal with this bass? It has a strings thru body bridge  I thought that was only on pre EB Stingrays and the 30th aniversary model.

EB has made (and probably still does make???) some limited run Basses with string-through-body bridges for the European and Japanese markets. "Musicman Nut" (Dave) has a nice example of said Bass finished in "Gunsmoke Silver" (below) which I believe was 1 of 200 made for Japan.

I have a guy in Tucker Georgia that is going to mod my '02 Stingray for String through body (not original but it is my bass and I don't plan on getting rid of it, i'm just making it a bass that I want to play)...he did the same to my Fender Jazzbass before I sold it and you couldn't even tell that it was not an original option. this guy even drilled the bridge and prettied up the holes that he made to string the bass...

I'd 100% recommend him for any guitar repair and modifications
