Thanks. I actually decided not to do anything, at least for now. The luthier i went to said that in order for him to put an overcoat on a finished wood, he needs to do some prep work (sanding and etc) and i just can't accept that. I got so scared (X 10 raised to an infinite number) that i didnt go with it. He told me anyways that for as long as i dont clean it with any substance, i will be fine since i used a paint marker. Hopefully that is true coz i already played my redburst in 3 shows already.

anyways. i never cleaned the top part of the body since it got signed. im just praying that i won't fade off.

That's cool.
I prep'd the back of my headstock by removing all traces of wax and then using 1200 - 1500 - 2000 wet and dry. Trouble is I haven't had a clear coat put on it - it's just that it's on a part of the neck that doesn't get touched. (ok who made the snide remark that neither does anywhere past the 12 th fret :D !!!)

I'm off to see Albert this week end. I'll try and get a photo signed and put it up for grabs (not for any money) on the forum. Thinks "what can I do to make a knuckleheads day with a signed AL photo?".
