I was really surprised to hear that mahagony body is lighter than standard SR bodies. Is it true?
Not my 30th! It's heavier than my other two SR4's!

I don't think it's a secret that Mahogany is heavier than ash. They will tend to be a little heavier than a normal SR, but not by much. We kept a close eye on the weight with the 30th's.

My 30ths have a variance in weight of about 1.25 pounds, with the lightest coming in at about 9.2 pounds.

It WAS a secret, but NO.
Just FYI, my 30th weighs just a bit over 9 pounds. Not a boat anchor at all, so yes, even though mahogany is heavier than ash, old eagle-eyed Darg did indeed watch the weight very carefully.

wow why did I take a shot ? because I waited until it was over and took care of the customers? mine is somewhere in the 9lb range. Im sorry that I made some of you "beta test" by shipping you first.
