I didn't mean to be rude....your know :)

I was really surprised to hear that mahagony body is lighter than standard SR bodies. Is it true?

That's what I was always thinking. My Anny Ray weights a little more than regular SR's. It would be interesting to perform some precise measurements.

I don't think it's a secret that Mahogany is heavier than ash. They will tend to be a little heavier than a normal SR, but not by much. We kept a close eye on the weight with the 30th's.

Oh, GREAT, Dargin.

It WAS a secret, but NO.












Just FYI, my 30th weighs just a bit over 9 pounds. Not a boat anchor at all, so yes, even though mahogany is heavier than ash, old eagle-eyed Darg did indeed watch the weight very carefully.

No worries chief!!! As you might notice - there wasn't a single 'bug' reported by any of the beta testers worldwide for that whole year :rolleyes:
