Nice collection there Razzle!! I do love that white JP, and honestly speaking that it was by far the best sounding and best playing JP that I've ever owned. It has a really open feel to it, very woody and articulate. I guess it was an exceptionally good piece of lumber.

The mods were fun to do and I am really glad that you dig them. Those white LF/CL pups had to be custom ordered to acquire chrome pole pieces, it just went better with the theme. The chrome mini knobs were done prior to the JP13 coming out, so I really had no idea that the JP13 would have killer chrome dome knobs, it was a theme that I envisioned for quite some time. There is a push/pull mod done to split the coils as well.

Razzle, those Purple balls rock!! How does the neck feel on your Y2D compared to the Axis and JP's?

thanks DS... I think the SM-Y2D neck sits right between the axis and the JPs, it's a great neck. I don't favor much the Axis neck since it is a bit chunky for my style, but I do love my Axes. What I really like are the JP necks, I really like the smaller neck and find I just play better and it's easier to for me to play the style I like. But I love the sound of that Y2D!
