:D :D :D

I found this roaming on the search option, in a desperate search for these exact specs. (De-Purple, matching headstock, no Floyd - very few pics of these, I tell you)

I'll be gettin' a Y2D around Christmas time, (thanks to my dearest most awesome brother this worlds has seen ;))and this is what I intend to order. I'm just worried that the dealer may have problems with ordering the Y2D, since there's nothing on his website. And I'm afraid pf how long I'll have to wait. :(

Anynway!

Here's the pic! What do you think? :D

I think it's a beaut and your brother is a helluva nice guy :D

Are you planning to order it from the states and work out some kind of shipping? Or order it locally? You know the drawbacks both ways.

I have no idea what I'm gonna do :(

Our local dealer is out of the question. He is such a horrible person I'd never buy a pick from him. He sells regular ASS-es for 3500$, Petrucci's for 4500$ etc. (a few years ago) He is just unbelieveable. When you come to his store, he acts like he doesn't want to sell you anything. Like you don't exist. He just wants you out of his face, pronto! That guy is the worst shop owner / worker I've ever seen. *too bad he doesn't deal F€nD3r* :D :D :D

Buyin' it from the US would be... hm... I dont know. :D

I was thinkin' about going to the Slovenian local dealer. The guy has great prices, he's only about 60 km away from me, but the thing is that I don't see any Y2D's listed on his site, and he has a page with the Balls he's selling. And + I'd have to pay 22% more when I enter Crotia (taxes), but I can get 17% or 19% back. (tax return)

What do you think?

Well, tough to say. I've always bought in the states, but out of the lot I only bought one new guitar and figured I could bring it down there if it needed warranty repair.

If your preferred dealer is that close, then I'd say go through him. If you have a warranty issue just bring it back to him.

As for stock ... I'd say order it with the specs you want and then enjoy the wait ;) If he deals with EBMM then you shouldn't have any problems.

Considering that US dealers aren't allowed to ship overseas, you'd have to consider a local option. I'd see if there's another, more scrupulous dealer in Croatia or order/buy through the Slovenian dealer, since the import tax doesn't sound too bad after you recieve your return. Good luck with your search.

Damn right he is! The best bro ever.

I was like: "Dude, do you realise how much it would take me to save up for a Y2D?! Like, 20 years! :D As oposed to the SUB1, which I think I could save up for in about few years."

And he was like: "What date is it today?"

...

"You'll have a Y2D by Christmas."

And he reminded me of it a few times since January (that's when it happened)

He is a computer programmer, and the most un-selfish person I've met in my life. I can't believe what he's actually going to do. I don't have a clue how I'm ever gonna thank him. (well I do his bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner, massage his back when he's all worn out and tired from programming, make him stuff to drink etc., but none of that is ever going to pay off a Y2D) :D

Thanks for the advice, guys. Means a lot ;) :)

I think I'm gonna go with the Slovenian dealer. Sounds the best comparing to the other possibilities.

Call the dealer and as him if he can get a Y2D in the arrangement that you want to get.

Hey Junior- ask the dealer if you have to pay for it up front or closer to delivery time (which is how it is the US).

If you have to wait a few months for delivery you might order it before Christmas ;)

That is a SPLENDID choice my friend. In fact, that is the exact same thing I will be ordering as my 3rd EBMM :D. I was trying to decide between the 3 color options, but I love this one the most. I was initially going to get a 20th Silo this year, but I dont think it's gonna happen.
I dont think they have to tax you on the thing when you get back to Croatia, because they dont have to know that you bought it there. Unless they do some kind of a crazy background check. Just make sure to take off all the tags and all the evidence :D. But I'm not too sure anymore, because I have not been out of the US for like 4 years now :(.

Hmm... I'll do so, but I don't exactly know how everything will work out. I already feel enough uncomfortable talkin' to my brother about this, I wouldn't want to get in a situation to ask my brother "Hey, the guitar is in, can you pay for it now? :(" ... I'd help him out, but he said that he will get the guitar, no help needed, and told me to get the amp.

Usually how it goes around here is that if the dealer doesn't have something in stock, you order it and leave some money. (usually about 10%-15% of the price) Then later, when the guitar comes, I'm guessing you bring the rest of the cash (so that's like 85%-90%). The bad thing is that when I bought my electric-acoustic (see sig) I left 10%, and later the bastard didn't count it in the price. So it was like paying 30$ to get the guy to write "1b@n3z AEG10E vintage sunburst" on the ordering list. In the end, I didn't even get the sinish I wanted. I got the black one in some shipment that ACCIDENTALY had the same guitar in.

That's the only way to screw the system over. I personally believe that the "system" is illegal and these "law makers" are full of themselves trying to brain wash everyone. The least we can do is not pay some BS customs tax payment whatever the hell it is now.
By the way, are you going to go with the upgrade top or that all depends on your cool brother?:D

Thanks for reminding me.

Can someone please explain all the differences between the normal and premium top? (sound, look, price etc.)

The only difference I know is that with the premium top you get "custom" written on the neck plate.

Well with the premium top, you get a choice of either a flame top or quilt top and it's gonna be AMAZING! The only difference is the upcharge, which is I think like $500 in US or somethin like that. So the only difference is the price and yuo get to choose the flame or quilt. I personally have NO idea yet which one I want (meaniong flame or quilt).

500$

WHHAAAAT?!

That's like, 1/4 of the price

And what wood comes on the standard top?

Sorry, Bane, but that's a little too far away. I'd hate having to travel through all of Croatia to get something from the dealer.
