I got a little sidetracked...

I went on a routine run at Guitar Center, today, seeing if they happened to have anything new for basses. What I didn't expect was to find two different used MusicMan guitars: An Axis Sport, and Silhouette Special. So I called up my good buddy Travis and consulted with him. Now what's the big deal you say? The prices! The Axis Sport was priced at $549, and the Silhouette Special....hold your breath on this one....$299! So I put both of them in layaway, without hesitation. I am soon to be the owner of these two babies.
Axis Sport (I've never seen this model or an Axis with a pickguard. Anyone have any background information)

Jack, posting prices on the forum is against the rules but death threats aren't? Just for that, I'm keeping the Axis forever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and well, you get the point. I have no clue how much I'll be into the Silhouette but the deal was just too good to pass up. I may end up hanging onto it. This definetely kills the idea of me selling my Mesa Dual Rectifier. Heck, I might even get a matching 4x12.

I want to get the little woman a guitar to play as a present for getting accepted to western (western WA university).

I won't be satisfied with anything except an EBMM and her favorite color is purple (she wanted a purple car, but i wouldn't let her).
