Ok, i got my Burnt Apple Sparkle Luke, my first EBMM!!!! It came in the mail, so i didnt play it beforehand so i was nervous. It is awesome to say the least. All my other guitars are put to shame! Seriously, i was looking at buying a certain type of guitar, after being frustrated with my JEM 90th, Fender 57 reissue, and Ibanez 76 Les Paul copy and J Custom. I did some homework and came up with a few EB guitars, went for the LUKE and i was right!

The colour is great, pics to come!!!!

Yeah its a great guitar. I played a Petrucci, but didnt like it at all. Liked the Albert Lee, the Silohuette was ok, but the Luke kicked its ass. Plus it says Luke on the headstock :) Played a Wolfgang ( a good one, not the special ) amd thought it was pretty crappy, there's on in Eastgate guitars in Balwyn ( for Australia readers! )

Oh well, GO DIESEL!!!!! Great guitar player/singer/song writer.

Scott.

It's true what you say buddy. The sad thing is he's all of those things but last year he was reduced to playing a free gig at a local Leagues club over here. He's previous Brisbane gig to that was in a "novelty" pub.

He's a great talent but sadly talent doesn't sell records these days. You need to be a 17 year old blonde girl or be doing the pop punk thing.

Caught his acoustic gig on the TV recently it was great.

Might even go and see him next time he comes to Bris.

Alot of talent gets pushed by the wastline, look at the likes of Petrucci, Lukather, Morse, etc etc. These guys should rule the world, not the likes of Britney Spears, Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc etc.

Yea it amazes me too that we have to be subjected to lip synching singers who don't even write their own material, who rule the charts, become movie stars and make way too much money. Musicians/guitarists who are the real artists, some do ok but some like some of the great blues artist don't even get the recognition they deserve until they're old or dead!!!!!!!

It pisses my off, real artists don't get the respect they deserve until they are dead.

Hopefully Steve Lukather gets some respect, man the media for some reason beat the living sh!t of his music, and Toto, when he's dead and buried (which l hope is a long way away), they'll probably piss on his grave. I've got nothing but respect for the guy, l've meet him, he knows that us fans are the reason he can play guitar for a living. When l first meet him, he treated me like l was an old friend, and once l got the "you're the reason l play guitar" stuff out of the way, he was a great guy just to sit there and have a chat with, l wonder if Britney Spears or any other Musician wannabe is like that.

Sorry for my rambling, it's late, l'm tired, l'm going to bed.

Scott.
