In my dream, somone called to tell me that I needed to fill in for John Petrucci for the rest of the DT tour. I was nervous because I've not really been exposed to their music that much, but I knew it was an opportunity that I'd be crazy to pass up. So, John called me about a week before I was to report for the tour, and I confessed that I didn't know any of the songs and wasn't a good enough player to play all of his riffs. He and I were laughing about it, and he said that I could just play "sweet home alabama" and "sweet child o' mine" covers and the fans would go nuts and be happy:eek:

Thank the Good Lord that this was just a very, very, very strange dream....and don't worry DT fans, I will not be taking John's place.....this tour....

Cheers!

AS long as it's not 'brown-eyed-girl', or "margaritaville", i could get thru the gig without either puking or stabbing a fan in the eye with my headstock.....anyway....
I better get some of their CD's and start woodshedding for next week.

Hahaha I had a crazy dream too like 2 or 3 days ago...and it was alo connected with John Petrucci. In that dream I was in subway and suddenly I got off from the train to almost empty platform. Then I saw a car and a guy. I came closer and that was John Petrucci with his EBMM guitar. He stopped for practicing. There was a double half stack of Mesa Roadking. And when I appeared next to him with my month on the ground he actually asked me If I could play for him, because he wanted to listen how his setup works...So I played :) Next thing I remember was saying goodbye and see you next time to John. He was driving some silver or blue car. I cam back to the subway station and met LaBrie. We talked a bit and...I woke up. :D
