Thanks hutton!

I was meant to have a band rehearsal last night, but it was postponed till next week - i was gutted as i've only had the pleasure of playing the SUB at home at a low volume. I can't wait to get together with the lads, crank up the volume and see how it perfoms with the band!

please may i have a free unopened set of Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings?! :)

a bit about me.........

i've just picked up the bass again after a bit of break for a few years, and have just recently bought a SUB bass off ebay for a good price (well i thought so!). From the serial number i think it dates from the end of 2003.

It was a bit of a risk as i hadn't even played a SUB before, but I'm really really impressed with it. I was concerned that i might not like the slab body or the finish of it, but i love it! And it just sounds awesome!

cheers

Welcome to the forum mrmagoo! A fine cartoon character indeed. One of my favorites. Come on in, put your feet up and enjoy the company. PM received. I'll get the strings out in the mail on Saturday. Then USPS will lovingly and painstakingly deliver them to her majesty's postal service who will lovingly and painstakingly deliver them to you.

Would be glad to see pictures of the SUB when you can.

All you veterans pay attention. I got more strings to give away here and don't wanna leave you guys out.
